Then sequentially connect the phase cables (L1, L2, L3) by aligning the mating connector arrows with the designated markings on the box and turning clockwise until fully seated. Each cover prevents disconnection of previously connected terminals, maintaining safety during assembly .

Step 4: Wiring and Cable Management

Route all cables neatly through designated wiring channels and secure them with brackets or cable ties. Adhere to color coding standards for easy identification: Yellow/Green for ground, blue for neutral, and red/black for phases. Proper routing reduces electrical interference, simplifies maintenance, and ensures compliance with safety standards .

Step 5: Insulator and Connector Checks

Only insert fully assembled insulators into the box to avoid misalignment of internal barrels. If misalignment occurs, reinsert and rotate each insulator fully to reset the mechanism. Verify that all connectors are securely fastened and that no loose components remain .

Step 6: Environmental Protection and Labeling

Ensure the box is equipped with dust and rain protection features. Clearly label each circuit with its purpose and number on the front panel to facilitate maintenance and management. This step enhances operational safety and simplifies troubleshooting .

Step 7: Final Inspection and Quality Control

Perform a thorough inspection to confirm all connections are correct, covers are closed, and grounding is effective. Check for mechanical stability, proper torque on connectors, and absence of debris inside the box. Only after passing these checks should the box be considered ready for deployment .

Step 8: Optional Remote Control and Monitoring

For advanced PDUs, connect remote monitoring or control interfaces to enable real-time power management, load balancing, and remote reboot capabilities. This step is optional but recommended for high-demand IT environments .
